Never? The jersey (and potentially shorts) is worn by the next in line, if a rider is leading more than one ranking

(I guess you know that, but it seemed like you forgot in your quest for "ugly cycling clothes combination")

I do of course, it's just quite rare for a rider to be leading those two competitions exclusively. Especially a rider like Abrahamsen.

Kevin Vauquelin is from Bayeux, home of the Bayeux Tapestry. Is his win today a good omen for the only knight in the race?

Hope we can avoid this:

Who would have thought that if you have a 230km flat sprint early in the TDF, that no-one wants to get in the break and waste energy. Now if you had the same stage later in the TDF then you would have a break form.

Same thing if its 160 km. Point being that sprint stages early on always are not just doomed, but extremely doomed

Aero nose. Another 20W saved. Easy win today.

This is getting a bit out of hand just like helmets.

I am going with Philipsen for today, the length of the stsge should also help him against other sprinters apart from De Lie and Pedersen.

The peloton has given itself a rest day, or maybe a 1/2 rest day. Can't blame them after the first couple of super hard and hot days.

Old school start today. The kids today are not used to multiple 200 km stages! :)

Going to be a long, long day. For riding, commentating, and most important of all for those watching the whole stage.:)

So the big drama will be the sprint bonus seconds because *somebody* must want an extra second to take yellow.

Surely the tour director must be on the phone to the invited teams.
To get invited, you would think they would promise to be in the break on days like this.
