The most notable stopoff is Chambéry, historical capital of the Savoie (the original area of the Duchy of Savoy, only ceded to France in 1860 as payment by the eponymous, aforementioned house in exchange for French help in its conquest/unification of Italy.
I wouldn’t give that psycho my wheel either!Wow, Tejay confesses that he didn't give his wheel to Cadel when Cadel punctured and asked for it. It was a terrible, youthful mistake, and "my relationship with Cadel was never the same."
He related the story to give context to Ayuso's seeming unwillingness to pull for Tadej on stage 4.
Sometimes young cyclists make mistakes with split second decisions.
Roglic didn't look in top form in Dauphiné either, his performance yesterday was in line with the level he showed there.I would come back on what I wrote during the Dauphiné about being to early in shape before the Tour. Being in topshape during the Dauphiné is and was always a bad tactic. That often turned out to be the case (but not always) in the past, and it is also what experts will confirm. A lot of "specialists" here denied that.
Well, let's look at some riders. Lazkano (tremendous in the Dauphiné as a non climber), Gee, De Plus, Vlasov, Roglic, Jorgenson etc. They were at their top during the Dauphiné..... but not anymore. I have to admit I don't understand those riders and their trainers. I can understand alrounder Lazkano going all-in before and during the Dauphiné, knowing he has to perform then (the Tour being to hard). But those other riders ?
Good morning, RC!Good morning!!
Arnaud de Lie for the win today.
Some might consider it karma that notorious wheelsucker Cadel didn't get a wheel the one time he needed it most.Wow, Tejay confesses that he didn't give his wheel to Cadel when Cadel punctured and asked for it.
