Remco us today's winner, but he didn't crush. Is that because he lost weight and power?
I think the peak of the other GC guys in July negates some of how good he is in TT. He drops the normal time he would and they are closer than normal

25sec today isn't really doing the job, considering his brand new tt bike, the poorer JV setup and Vinge just coming back from injury.

Also decent save by Roglic.

I'd like to see the descent times because from the looks of it, Rog absolutely nailed that part. He's usually a slow starter anyway in ITT's these days so in the end it really wasn't too bad.

So based on their times I think Jorgenson just managed to catch Gall. Another disasterclass TT in the bag.

So Vingegaard 1:15 back after 7 stages, incl. Galibier and an ITT. I would hope for Pogi, he wins it this year, since I can't avoid thinking an optimally prepared Vingegaard would have crushed everybody again. He would be in Yellow for sure (no one can convince me that he couldn't have been 1:15 better on Galibier and the ITT combined if in top form).

Remco did most of the "damage" to Pog up the hill... bit unexpected I would say...

something like 6-7 of the 12 seconds were there. Though PCS is down right now so cant see for sure split wise.

I think it might depend on where in the climb. I think pog went faster on the steep part and remco pushed it out again on the rising flat over the top.

Three time checks in 25k is just too much, we have zero overview of who's doing what on screen right now. Doesn't help that the ASO visualisation is terrible.
The worst part of it is the insistence of using currently best rider at the finish as benchmark for GPS times throughout ITT. I'd prefer no GPS times and better use of the intermediate times, but if they have to use the GPS live timing, they should use the last rider on the road as benchmark and then compare him against more than one other rider.

What did you expect? Maybe 30s less or so. But 40-50th is totally where he always would end up in a first week ITT.

Jonas is in the great position for the GC win. Only 1:15 behind Pog after 1st week is above expectation. Real mountains will decide, Evenpoel will probably lose minutes and I am afraid Pog will have a day off as well.

Impressive TT from Evenepoel.. solid win to say the least with top-dog on all intermediate CPs.
Great to see that Vingegaard could keep it together, with a relatively small loss at 25s to Pogacar, that ain't to shabby on TT like this, same with Roglic' also a decent TT from him..
