So from what I can see it's very fast, not technical & has a tail wind. The climb isn't anything more than a soft hill either.

Evenepoel is going to have fun. I don't see Pog beating him here (& other GC guys are going to ship quite a lot of time).
Martinez is at 47.7 km/h at the finish with a minute down to the rest. Not fast.

42 riders were faster than that in 2021, and that was also not a fast route.

bit off topic - but am looking at the Polka Dot Jersey competition - can anyone confirm if there's double points available for the summit finish in stages 14, 15, 19 and 20?

Durbridge is 4 s/km faster than Martinez on the first flat part. I can see the main stage favorites being 4s/km faster over the whole route (except perhaps for the downhill) so the winning time may well be 1'30'' + better than the current one.
Maybe it's just a question of terminology, but I wouldn't call a 50 km/h ITT fast. To me, that's at least 53 km/h.

Laval in 2021 was at nearly 51 km/h, and I think that was a rolling and relatively slow route.

agree with this.

however, a very fast TT is harder to make big differences. maybe with a headwind. but there's a tailwind.

Remco and Pog to fight it out for the stage, but I do not think gaps will be very large in GC in general.

I don't see the point of doing an ITT where differences can be evened out by a mere MTF sprint. Doesn't change the dynamics and tactics when they get to the mountains. Now, a 50 km test would have made a difference.
