There is no execuse for what jumbo and jonas did here. They have Evenpoel back and roglic and they are 2v1 and he still cant go around :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: Theres nothing anyone can say to make that make sense. Ridiculous
You're letting your hatred for Vingegaard blind you. [[content deleted: uncivil]] What they are doing makes perfect sense.

"How dare Visma ride smart in their attempt to win this race? Their main priority should be entertaining me and helping Pog"

-Every Pogacar fan
Most of us watch for entertainment, so even when we know why they're doing what they're doing, that doesn't mean we can't voice displeasure at the way it's playing out. It's a paradox of sport - these people aren't paid to be entertainers but most of the viewers are watching for entertainment. For a lot of spectators, losing in an exciting manner is greater than winning in a boring manner. Hence why riders like Rui Costa and Simon Gerrans are viewed negatively, while there remains a cult of Mikel Landa to this day.

It makes sense, but I wouldn't say perfect sense; I do however think that there were more optimal outcomes possible if they did contribute at least a little.

No, they believe Pogacar is the man to beat.

Edit: And they're obviously right too

Distance Evenepoel without expending any turns for Vingegaard?

After all, Remco is pulling. Tadej is pulling. Jonas doesn't have to if Matteo is there taking pulls on his behalf.
But what is the point in this? Distance Remco, who Vingegaard will likely gap on the mountains anyway, tire out Jorgensen and risk a Pogacar 10km TT? Vingegaard is right at the limit, if he loses support of Jorgensen through trying to distance Remco he leaves himself pretty exposed to Pogacar.
