You look at the size of that group two and you've got multiple sprinters or GC guys with teammates. Really shameful they couldn't bring that back. There's plenty of guys there who should have been chasing

Yeah, I really don't understand what happened, either. Bizarre.

That's just sad if Bora and Roglic give up just like that.

They just gave Mas 38 seconds gratis. Yeah it's Mas but what if he's got his Vuelta climbing legs here? It's stupid.

I mean I get it, i.e. neither Evenepoel nor Rog are favorites for the Tour. So yeah those teams take a sprinter to 'diversify' their options but come on, when the stage win is done for at least get everyone on the front to limit the time loss. It's like the team cars just had no idea (or didn't really care) about what was going on.

Just totally passive.

What value does Van Aert bring to the race???
You see multiple teams with missed assignments! When you have working mules as soon as gap opened, you see slender echelon with front group rolling away, it was do or die right then for 3,4 teams and nobody closed it, Wout finished with gas in the tank, Jorgenson ends up finishing where Jonas should have been.. Now all the sudden those 2 guys crashing themselves in the middle of an empty street doesn't look so stupid..
