When I see Durbridge in the peleton after 4 climbs it suggests the pace is moderate. Feel the break has been taking it easy and has more to give. The two Jumbo riders primary role is to win the stage.

Red Bull still with 5 guys. Better then expected. Pithie recovered from this crash and Moscons climbing legs look ok.
Moscon probably needed the Giro donkeywork to get his weight down and in shape.
Dainese and Storer interview on Italian TV right now, about how Storer managed to lock himself into the toilet for 20min this morning and needed help to finally get out of it.

Van Wilder (we don't talk enough about how badly he's stagnated, would definitely have made the fuga de la fuga if this was 2023) will be ready to take on that role within half an hour by the looks of things.
Meanwhile, Armirail is closer to the front than to the peloton.

Man what happened to Ilan van welder, certain Belgian propagandists were talking him up for years as the next Remco or something , and they were proven right with the unforgettable 2023 summer of van welder, he was electric , attacking left right and centre and complaining about merger rumours in interviews. And then he just lost all his ability and all his personality. A shame. Hopefully logic can give some reassurances

Visma should never have let the break go, man. Could have had stop/start, constant attacks all stage.

He was 8th in Suisse so I thought he was on the right path again to have a good Tour. Hopefully he’s taking it easy on some days and be ready for the days that matter.
