Yeah, those doctors took a good look at the situation and said look, a miracle, your collarbone has healed in two weeks time, you are hence ready to undertake the Tour. On top of that i am hence rather sure, that not long from now an article in medical literature will be published, describing it in detail, on how they achieved that and on how pigs can fly.

As far as I'm concerned, if they cleared him to race, it was because the bone had healed, and he was ready to race.

Ignorance is a bliss.

No. That's the thing. I'm not trying to act as if I know more than the doctors.

Well, in the end it's the doctors that would say you are in the wrong here, as it's their literature, their bible, on where it states on how collarbone in a grown man can't heal in 2 weeks time. Furthermore, the most recent incident i remember, a team doctor was perfectly OK with Almeida riding with a broken rib. Going back to PN on where Jonas basically complained publicly, on how a charlatan conducted an exam on him ...

All in all i feel my job is done here, that is you looked in the medical literature and now know on how long it takes to heal a broken collarbone. On what happens after that and on what you decide to do with that knowledge, i agree that that is your choice.
