Vingegaard worse than in other years after all that talk from the team, despite not being injured this time. This could be because he's a bit older, the nature of the stage, or because Visma are no longer allowed to use the banned CO2 rebreather method that some riders were using to increase their performance.

I said Onley is the man to look to for the podium....but got shot down here by the usual Einsteins...saying he was only a rouler and couldn't climb

The anti UK sentiment on here is palatable
I'm a Brit and wouldn't have given that much credence tbh, as hadn't seen too much of him excelling in the high mountains? Can't believe he's only 22 still. Hard to see Picnic hanging on to him after this, though I suppose he'll be able to dictate his schedule if he stays there.
