Congratulations to Jonathan Milan for winning the sprint.

Another crash fest, on where and by now most of the candidates for green jersey already eliminated. It doesn't seem that crash prevention measures taken had any effect whatsoever on this Tour edition and unfortunately no injury prevention protocols involved. Police taking down a spectator all in all really bad image for this sport.

He stopped being a spectator the moment he jumped the barriers in a buffoonish "Look at me! Look at me! LOOK AT ME!" move.

I don't know to be honest, imagine taking a kid to such event, anticipating one of the heroes, instead getting the brutality. Let him pass the finish line and arrest him after he is cooling down and celebrating.

Fisticuffs, I assume. Shame the TV seems to have missed it.

But does the "assault and intimidation" apply to both of them, or only to Rickaert?
Did Rickaert assault and intimidate Capiot? And if so; why is Capiot getting punished?
Did they assault and intimidate each other?
Did they gang up, and assault and intimidate a third rider?
Why did only Rickaert get a yellow card?

one would hope that an aldult in the vicinity of such kid can explain the situation or are we witnessing an accelerated reverse evolution of the parenting generation?

Good question, should a sane parent take a kid to a cycling race in the first place, sprint finale. Currently this is an R rated material anyway.
