I knew the Americans had a different way of listing dates, but there seems to be something very wrong with the year in this case ;)

When it rains, it pours, so Démare will continue the French streak today.

This should be a nailed on bunch sprint but I think a lot of riders are very tired right now. In the third week of the Tour it wouldn't be the first time that a seemingly clear sprint stage goes to a break of rouleurs instead.

As in for this year's edition? Damn, perhaps people really do find predictable domination uninteresting - or I suppose perhaps Pogacar just isn't going all out, and people would tune in if he did more W/kg than on PdB.

Now we just need Mrs. Hansen & Urska to spontaneously deliver babies out of nowhere and the dream of a first Tour for you-know-who would be a little closer.

Since the thread title is a bit confusing, I‘ve checked and the 23rd July 1925 was also rainy in this area. Can‘t tell you about the year 225, though.

IPT will apparently go for Stewart today, which honestly is a bit of a surprise. Ackermann still sounded confident yesterday.
