Schmid made it back from his crash and is pulling again. But a stitched up Schmid vs such a strong break is not a very even battle.

There are teams in the peleton with multiple riders who have no stage wins but will not try to give themselves a chance to win a stage. Then again the last week has been a tactically strange week.

Some rain predicted. They've always said they might neutralize it or even skip Montmarte if it rains.

Let's hope at worse they just neutralize GC times as no one cares aboutt hat anymore anyways.
Even if it's light showers? I get it if it's chucking it down, would be a bit farcical for the Tour to be decided by a cobbled crash on the final day, but surely not if it's light rain.

Yeah that's my preditcion. Hence why I've been making jokes about it all week haha. One drip of rain and some teams will start crying.

But yeah don't really care about neutralized time. GC is set anyways

Who has the team to do that? No one I think. Who has a sprinter left? Nys is there, but Trek can't do it on his own. This break will stick imo.

German ES saying Luke Plapp should be in the group but it seems like he somehow isn‘t. It‘s obvious that he wasn‘t up there at first because it split on a wet descent, but guys like Politt and Soler who are also bad at that made it back. Very bad showing by Jayco today.
