I was wrong, this TT will have big gaps. Wind is strong and is slowing down the final riders

I only saw a Spanish article about it earlier on, and the "moto cross" part indeed was and incorrect translation, by the look of it.

Being at the Tour de France wasn't in his plans, he was surprised in June when he got the call. "There wasn't enough time to do any altitude camps or anything by the time I found out. So, I was just back home and we actually did motor pacing almost every single day leading up to here.


He planned to go to altitude which I assume happened. he did do lots of motopacing. Fun fact, he is the only rider in the men's team who has his own coach and is not coached in-house.

looks like the wind has changed quite a bit meanwhile. Schmid lost 1:15 to Affini in the 1st half, nothing in the 2nd. More or less same for Dunbar (although a bit worse).

It seems like the wind has changed, however, Schmid was not going flat chat because he has his eye on tomorrow's stage.
