This for sure! There was a point when he looked like he wasVan Aert looked kinda good, he was getting barged around a lot and a few months back probably would've noped out of it and finished 15th
Lots of wasted energy on a wide road...sure there were round abouts, but nobody else seemed to be too worried, and his face was in the wind a bit there for marginal reasons.Vingegaard overly neurotic today.
I think it sorta shows the specificity of sprints on such an uphill drag where it's still clearly a bunch sprint but the uphill kick kills all the leadouts and pure sprinters die before the sprint even launches. That Wout was the only rider who was challenging him, is an indictement of all of the other teams with sprinters. How do you *** it up that badly?
Was a successful recipe for Marcel Kittel already!Milan only won because he is good looking..
Kittel is actually one of the better pundits for Dutch TVWas a successful recipe for Marcel Kittel already!

I was actually surprised when I heared him commentating the Deutschland Rundfahrt on German TV a few years ago, he's a good commentator.Kittel is actually one of the better pundits for Dutch TV
Merlier was injured by not having a team when he suffered the breakdown today.Milan always the favourite on uphill sprints like these. Has a really good track record, just too much power. On purely flat ones, Merlier takes the lead, but these suit Milan perfectly.

"A tough guy who likes to bully his opponents" - Tadej Pogacar receives backlash after first Tour de France days
The Tour de France is likely to be decided in the mountains between Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard, but with so many flat and hilly stages beforehand, the current battle feels more psychological b...cyclinguptodate.com
So why would only Pogi be a bully, and Jonas not included? Just because Jonas is introverted he hence can't be a bully and the action to push Pogi in yellow can be overlooked? I mean Pogi only pushed Matteo, whole Visma pushed Pogi into yellow.
You can't seriously be equating a physical push with the horrible crime of "forcing" the best rider in the race into the yellow jersey...![]()

He's very eloquent indeed!I was actually surprised when I heared him commentating the Deutschland Rundfahrt on German TV a few years ago, he's a good commentator.

Just as Jorgensen and Vingo started to drop back under the 5K banner Wout appeared at the bottom of the screen in the overhead shots. At first it looked kind of speculative, like let me just see if there's anything here for me. With about 1 1/2 K to go you could tell he was committed and right up until Milan (and Wout) jumped the others were just kind of falling away on their own. This for sure! There was a point when he looked like he waspancaked(EDIT: Sandwiched in...got my wheat based items mixed up) in, that I thought he would pull the parachute and drop out, but he stayed in and didn't lose his nerve for the first time in a long time. I think the way he has been ridden against so far this tour, may have lit a fire in him again.
It's not against the rules (except apparently for Rou's "unwritten rule") to ride faster on the front than others would prefer. Technically it is against a (written) rule to take your hands off your handlebar and put them on another rider.![]()
