They have many degrees of freedom and can plan ahead several years.

But what's wrong with visiting Bretagne? I guess I just don't see the issue. It's not a problem for me that the mountains start on stage 12.

Especially not because Pogi will probably just show that there was not much reason to get somewhat intrigued as to whether we might have a battle. It's fine for that realisation to be postponed.

I feel abit sorry for poor old Rickaert, been out there all day doing just as much effort with MvdP as MvdP has in this, and yet he's got no chance of getting the combativity award for it has he

Do they have to award combativity before the end of the stage? Because of MVDP wins he should get the consolation prize.
