Yeah I welcome that small change to the Montmartre being 15 km away from the finish when they climb it for the last time.

I really like the buildup of the first 7 stages. Bergerac-Perigueux should have been a long flat itt. I like the layout of the course from Aurillac to Orcières-Merlettes. The first AdH stage is too much, but the second one is superb, albeit a bit late in the course.

Last stage giving them enough room to come back is a positive, this time round they didn't even bother. It leaves the outcome more in the balance.

Some good stages. Le Lloran, Le Markstein and second Alpe d'Huez stage are good. Orcieres and first Alpe are awful. At least one of these should much rather have been replaced by a tough medium mountain stage.

If there was a 35-40km flat Itt during the first 1,5 weeks it would actually be not half bad, aka a balanced route.
Also, I'm not sure about the Alpe record, if they go hard on the 2 stages at the start of the stage to establish the breakaway there will be some fatigue from the first hour of hard racing.
