Why does movistar even bother with a lead out, they basically never succeed, and drop off Norsgaard far too early etc. Not that she would have won against Wiebes with an ideal lead out, but a top 3 was for sure possible.

It should suit her and Kopecky better, but Wiebes also won a stage in Ride London, which had a similar climb in the final.

Stage 2: Meaux - Provins, 136.4 km
The second stage starts in Meaux, east of Paris, and finishes in the medieval town of Provins (both are part of the Seine-et-Marne department), where the riders will cross the finish line and do a lap in and around the city before reaching the finish for the last time.
Provins hosted the start of a stage in last year's Tour de l'Avenir, while Meaux saw Alessandro Petacchi win his first Tour de France stage back in 2003.
The Cote de Tigeaux after 18 km is the only QOM of the day.
There’s an intermediate sprint at the first crossing of the finish line after 116.5 km. The finish is uphill, with the last kilometre being at 4%, but that shouldn’t be too much of a problem for the best sprinters. The finish line is right next to the local tourist office.
The stage features narrow roads and medieval city walls and there are possibilities for both echelon action and crashes. The stage starts at 12:50 local time and is expected to finish between 16:15 and 16:35. There will be live images from around 14:00, meaning the first 40-50 km, including the QOM sprint, won't be covered.
