Nicole Frain didn't brake at all there. Wow!
Cavalli is at least back on her bike.
Big fail from Trek, did they really think that LBL attack would work? Why didn't they pace with Longo Borgini to take as much time on GC as possible while still giving Balsamo a chance for the sprint?
Happy for Vos, fantastic to see her getting a win already!
Apart from that a bit of a shitshow in good TdF tradition regarding favorites crashing. Disaster for FDJ and others like Faulkner also lost big time.
Frain ffs, so reckless!
She stopped pedalling some meters before so she most have seen something. Horrible for Cavalli.I guess she was on the limit trying to get back after her own crash and then didn't spot the danger in front of her, but it didn't look good at all.
Who was the Parkhotel rider that looked like she was chasing back on with Frain? She looked pretty bad when the camera showed her after the crash stumbling around in the ditch slightly dazed.Vos has won 241 races - Reckon Vos has won 40 races with her ability to read a race. Watched the back view of the Cavalli crash - Frain did brake, albeit a bit late but it seems her brakes failed.
Just seen the crash, absolutely horrific. WTF was Frain doing, please throw her out of the race.
Good god. Assuming her brakes were working, that's on a par with what Groenewegen did to Jakobsen for me.That definitely does not look like stopping, more like she was trying to kills that poor girl.
