I'll take anything other than one of the SDW riders going off the front again as everyone just watches her while SDW bullies and disrupts the chase and gets their hundredth 1-2 of the year.
if it turns into a battle of whose the most likely to solo away on the uphill bits, its going to be AvV, then Demi, with Kasia and Cecilie in that doomed chasing pack maybe with ELB for company battling for the last podium spot.

So tough on Van de Velde today, so wanted her to hang-on. I am still constantly
amazed at how passive the racing can be so late in the races, and I say that as someone who has been following the Women's racing for a few years now. I love Womens Cyclo-Cross(even when they are on the road), but the Road racing leaves me scratching my head a lot.

When the coverage finally comes on, I hope they don't show us 30 minutes of pre race highlights and analysis. It's a waist of time watching the riders walk around their buses earlier while the race is happening live. It's almost like they want to create the appearance of start to finish coverage.

Seems like no one is willing to work yet and someone from the break is likely to win the stage. From what we've seen previously, the peloton won't be able to cooperate well enough to close down a 9 minute gap, unless the cooperation in the break is even worse.

I don't understand why it so difficult in the women peloton that from, let's say five teams, one rider each is doing the chase, like in the men's peloton.

Firsttly women don't have the confidence in their power to bring back a break with a large advantage and secondly the other teams will not and should not help SD worx under any circumstances.
