Without the pee break attack does she win the Vuelta?AVV is a tough one. She has not been her usual dominating self, this year. Still managed to win a Vuelta and Giro. Gutsy ride, today.
Changing of the guard in the most emphatic way. Time stands still for no one...
And Demi is such a lovely and charming woman. So great she is the face of women cycling now.
Without Tourmalet would Vollering win the Tour?Without the pee break attack does she win the Vuelta?
It was inevitable. She's about to be 41. For her to win 5 of 6 GTs in her last 2 years is phenomenal.AVV is a tough one. She has not been her usual dominating self, this year. Still managed to win a Vuelta and Giro. Gutsy ride, today.
In the next 5 years, I don't see anyone close to beating herYou said Goat. Last time I checked, that meant "greatest of all time"
You can only ride the course the race organisers set...Without Tourmalet would Vollering win the Tour?

Ahhhh, great choice!! Love Patti.
I get the sense the poster was being facetious; for some she comes off as very prickly. To me she is just very direct, no candy coating, like most (in my experience) Dutch women. Some might want the ambassador for women's cycling to be a little more warm and fuzzy perhaps? That was my take on it.So, is Vollering a great ambassador for cycling? And honest question, because I have no idea.
Are you just referring to the Tour? And even if that winds up being the case she wouldn't be the goat. It would take WAY more than that.In the next 5 years, I don't see anyone close to beating her
Will Niewiadoma be able to hang on to her podium spot tomorrow?
GT's and ArdennesAre you just referring to the Tour? And even if that winds up being the case she wouldn't be the goat. It would take WAY more than that.
Possible but she's 1-7 against AVV in time trials and the only time she beat her was by 3 seconds in a prologue.Kopecky to gain 7sec on Van Vleuten tomorrow? And maybe even 45sec on Kasia?
After all the weird tactics and silliness, Vollering crushed it. I thought for a while they were just going to gift the GC to Kopecky, though fantastic ride by her. Will Niewiadoma be able to hang on to her podium spot tomorrow?
Have to say some of the TV shots were weird, they cut from Volleing to Moolman-Pasio with 200m to go for some reason and then barely made it back for Vollering crossing the line, did the same on a few other stages which to me is poor coverage.

I missed the neutralised pee zone the race organisers set in the Vuelta ...You can only ride the course the race organisers set...
