Cognitive dissonance is really hitting me.

Kasia is great and I've cheered for her for a decade now and I would like her to win, but she would be winning because SD Worx screwed Vollering rather than anything else.

Demi is the strongest rider and deserves it considering what she's had to overcome to do it, but I also feel like given the way they've treated her, SD Worx don't deserve the win she'll be giving them.

Pauliena is a rider I've always liked and is the true underdog here, but she's also riding the defensive route and isn't on my CQ team unlike Niewiadoma and Vollering.

It is nice to have a choice between three riders where I actually like all of them, though.

Whats Demi's FTP? 5-5.50 w/kg? But I mean, its obvious that their w/kg is significantly lower.

I don't think that's significantly lower at all. I remember Van Vleuten has some climbing times comparable to like top 10 or top 20 mens times.

Kasia is riding an impressive climb up AdH. It will be crazy if it comes down to bonus seconds now. Also heart breaking if Demi gets "pipped" winning the stage but just missing enough seconds to take overall as with the 2023 Vuelta. Crazy drama.

Maybe hyperbole, but Annemiek did set some times on climbs like Zoncolan that would have placed her reasonably in the men's race, not like she would have been contending for GC but like, in the top half of the results.

Of course, the conditions were completely different and the women's stage was completely Unipuerto over a much shorter distance so it wasn't really comparable.
