Cognitive dissonance is really hitting me.

Kasia is great and I've cheered for her for a decade now and I would like her to win, but she would be winning because SD Worx screwed Vollering rather than anything else.

Demi is the strongest rider and deserves it considering what she's had to overcome to do it, but I also feel like given the way they've treated her, SD Worx don't deserve the win she'll be giving them.

Pauliena is a rider I've always liked and is the true underdog here, but she's also riding the defensive route and isn't on my CQ team unlike Niewiadoma and Vollering.

It is nice to have a choice between three riders where I actually like all of them, though.
Its like trying to decide which one of your kids gets your kidney to save their life. I much prefer it when my favourite riders suck.

Poor Phil should definitely have called it a career at the Olympics; he's not on a great day today.

@Peyroteo94 is always deleting these threads with dumb comments a la "looking at these pictures I conclude..."
Everyone on the womens WT peleton can do Angliru, it's just about what gears you're riding. Times will be 10-20% slower, we all know this, thanks and let's move on towards the actual race.
Yeah mate, you're right. Back to the actual race. Cheers
