It could have been quite the story if Wiebes had stopped after the crash.

Another bad start for Vollering, but she's made a comeback before. Did Balsamo get back on her bike? It looked like a broken collarbone.

Even in the last corner with the smaller group they touched each other more than necessary.

Now it’s waiting for the medical bulletin.

I think it was Paternoster who causes the crash which is surprising as she is an excellent bike handler. Liv Alula Jayco has had four riders crash in three days. Will they survive the TDF?

I was thinking about the person who said womens cycling is a whole different sport because of this stuff. But it seems like the same dumb to me, as you also note.
TBF, it is different in some ways, in that the men no longer allow the break far enough up the road to even have a chance of staying away to butcher like this.

I was following her. Looked like the Ceratizit rider on her right clapped wheels in front of her while overtaking and Letizia did the same with her. She sat down longer than most riders but made the finish and looks like some bruises mostly.

Peloton went too slow before the road narrowing and you had 10 riders wide going into it. With riders going around left and right it was bound to happen.

Naah, it's Taylor who's "Mr. Niewiadoma"; she's the Tour-winner in the family.
Very rude to call him Mr. Unknown, I know he didn't deliver on the hype but it was largely injuries that curtailed his career and most long-term cycling fans at least would know who he is.
