So...I just found out that cycling.tv wont have tour coverage. I instantly thought that maybe they should change their name, but then I thought, maybe that's just my reductionist American proclivity, and the Tour de France really isn't that big a deal.

But then I though, "How will I watch the Tour live?"

Having no television, that is...

Can you help me?

I want to add to this, if someone can find the Japanese stream, I will be much obliged

EBH was injured most of the early season. Maybe he's back to usual now, but I don't see him to win this. A top 10 possibly, but no win.

He absolutely smoked the Dauphiné ITT though. In the end Brajko and Millar were faster, but he was miles ahead of the early competition.

No, Lance is smarter than to show how good his riders and he is. He will tell them to do a Floyd and attend to the start gate late and don't go too fast during the prologue. This will get Contador into a false sense of security and his "team" (if they are even good enough to be called that) will be all used up and tired after the first stage and will have to dropout. Lance will keep it close till the 1st mountain stage as he is a showman. He is like a great play, he has the audience on the edge of there seats and then just blows them away.

Lance could become a script writer!:D

what ?? you joking ?

Didnt EBH beat Cancellara in a time trial in Oman?
Yes, but it was in Oman and in February. I will rate EBH when he does something in a more significant tt race against Cancellara. It was Feb and Spartacus' motor was only in 2nd gear.:p

1. Cancellara
2. Contador
3. Wiggins
4. Martin
5. Farrar

Ship it!

However, I would not be shocked if Contador wins it. Think Paris-Nice 2009

The prologue will be critical for Armstrong. If he's out of the top 12, he's not going to have a good tour. Guaranteed. When LeMond won the tour in 89, his prologue was surprisingly good. He flew under the radar until the long time trial.

Using no science, history or research in deciding my picks, just my top secret methods...

1) Canc
2) AC
3) Martin
4) Rogers
5) geez only had two coins to flip...so only chose 4 spots

Does it mean anything that all the Radio Shack names wouldn't stick to the coins? ;)

There you have it, no need to watch the stage now.

So you're predicting that Sagan has a mechanical, forcing him out of the top 20? I mean, that's pretty specific...

Yeah. A week earlier Canc got dropped during a team time trial though (dropped!), so suffice to say he wasn't in prime shape at the time.

Another way to look at it is that Cancellara won the tour of Oman and said that that time trial was the most he ever put into a tt, saying it hurt a lot more than the worlds victory 5 months earlier.
and ebh still beat him.;)
