With the points he took at the intermediate sprint, EBH is now up to 4th in the points classification. As a pure domestique, that's quite an impressive feat.

Note that he's ahead of Cavendish too :D

OPQ and Euskatel pulling this one back for their 2 big sprinters...

Sad to see Levi has descended to pointless pulling back of a break so other teams can take the top 20 on the stage - who do they even think can go for the stage?

Velits has some finishes in top 20, even top 10 this year, probably they'd go with him, but I can't see him wining anything today, at best, he could be second behind sagan, I would like to see that actually, however I think goss and him like will do him easily.

OPQS could be riding for Velits or Pineau, both riders with a half decent finish. AG2R I don't know, maybe Roche?

Velits is sick taking antibiotics. I do not understand Liq. Maybe they preffer to let it be and fix the green jersey - not bringing Greipel to the finish.

Just watched the post crash "dust up" on France tv.
Gilbert went out of his way to get into it with the owner
of the big black dog, only to find out it was a 5 year old girl!:D
Still, that didn't stop our Fearless Phil. He had to be restrained,
while the terrified kid hung onto her mother's legs.

(OK, I've used a bit of poetic licence with the ownership, but
the rest is true.)

Ok not so brilliant or classy after all if he had a go at a 5 year old. Should have a go at her parents instead.

To be fair, Cav has been a Domestique this year as well.

Sky in 4th-7th points on the Point classification

True, but not in the sprints. He's been very unlucky though, no doubt about that.

The breakaway is clearly gaining time uphill, but losing a lot on the flat.

Seems as though the peloton has picked up the pace now. They're quite strung out, and the gap to the break is slowly coming down.

Sagan should give today's price money to Euskaltel, Rabobank, Saur-Sojasun, OPQS and AG2R. They're doing a great job for him!

He should do it all the time. Never getting any support from his team - except Tim and Ted.

I think the paycheck to Rabobank is already on it's way (no idea by whom but there is no other reason why they would chase with all riders they've got)

Well, to be honest, his best helper is Oss I think, the only problem is that Oss can't make it very fast when there is a bump on the road

Bit more on the crash.
Menchov and particularly Brajkovic seem to have come off worst.
Vichot also involved, along with Mr Angry, of course.

At least it looks like Liquigas is getting its 11th Grand Tour in a row where all riders have finished.
