This long, flat time trial probably won't make any difference for the final podium, so the main questions seem to be:
*Is an advantage of 2'37" enough for Jurgen Van Den Broeck to keep Tejay van Garderen behind him in the battle for the fourth place?
*Can Wiggins add some colour to his victory by winning this second time trial as well, or will Froome beat him on his own terrain?

Sean Yates on cyclingnews: "For the first 38km it's super-fast and nice roads, then it does get trickier."

Correct starting times:

16.21h: Tejay van Garderen
16.24h: Jurgen Van Den Broeck
16.27h: Vicenzo Nibali
16.30h: Christopher Froome
16.33h: Bradley Wiggins

"The Sky pair isset to occupy the top two steps of the podium, and on the past three occasions that riders from the same team have done so, the final time trial has been won by the man who would finish second overall."

Good enough for me. The alien FTW.

I think it will depend on if both Wiggo and Froome go full gas. I'm guessing they should do as it only takes 1 bad corner and all can change in the GC.

Dont think the gap will be that big between them tomorrow and I expect Van Garderen to be in the top 3 with the 2 Sky riders.

I'd love to see Van Garderen pull an upset. But with what I suspect are unresolved issues, probably either Froome will win the ITT, or Wiggins will be so irritated he'll try to catch Froome on the road.

I love Tejay, but Nibali isn't that bad a TTer.

Since Canc and Martin aren't here it seems like Wiggo and Froome won't have any competition in this. Obviously Wiggo is the favorite for this but Froome has a pretty good chance at taking this. Also I think TJVG will do a killer TT to get close to JVDB but not quite get 4th overall. I'll pick Froome just because it would be funny if froome was the better tt'er all along and ends up taking some time out of wiggo.

Cancellara, T.Martin, Larsson, Westra, & Chavanel not in the race anymore; Millar, Gretsch & EBH weren't exactly saving energy in yesterdays break. Bert Grabsch might even finish in the top 20 here.

Only TJVG has any slight chance of stopping froome or wiggins.
But it is stage 19 after all, he might be exhausted.

Amazing to think TJVG could have finished 4th in GC if he was not asked to wait on the La Toussuire.
But at that moment it seemed completely understandable to do so.

Only two minutes gap?

Helps Froome, should at least catch Nibali.

Didn't even notice that...

Tejay's going to catch VDB too, most likely. We'll have a pretty good idea whether he'll pass him in the standings based on where on the course he catches him.

Tejay might still finish in 4th. Got back 2:03 over VDB over 41 kilometers, so an extra 34 seconds over an extra 10 kilometers isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Tejay starts before VDB.

It's allways bugged me during these long TT stages that there are only 2 time checkpoints on the route. Would add much more excitement if there were at least 4 or 5 time checks instead of one every 20 minutes or so.
Surely cant be that difficult to put some extra ones in.

*facepalm*

I'm on a roll. The bad kind of roll. Like a stale fruitcake.

VDB is looking very vulnerable on the GC. I think Van Garderen can do it. Hope Evans also does a good ride.

Have the time gaps been amended? Biciclismo showing first 1 minute gaps, then 2 minute gaps and finally 3 minute gaps for the top 14 riders.

I see Porte higher in the betting than Rogers with some bookmakers - can anyone explain this to me?

I know Porte took it easy on stage 9 but Rogers beat him by over 2 mins in the Dauphine ITT and should surely be favoured to finish higher?
