If Saxo are as bad as everyone claimed, that Garmin time is pretty poor.

I doubt it will win, but it looks like Bertie isn't going to be losing very much at all today, 30s to Andy maybe. GC gap to stay bridgeable in Grenoble alone.

you sure? contador hasnt looked very impressive in a long TT for a long time.

Movi doing all right.

Won the time trial in Giro. Third in the last trial after celebrating for a kilometer.

When has Andy been impressive in a time trial?

didnt say andy has been impressive. im saying that what schleck has plus the 30 sec he might gain today might not be enough for contador to jump on schleck in the last TT.

Especially considering Amador and Intxausti can't be considered anything more than passengers, and just making the time limit and staying in the race is their main goal for today.

I'd say his performace in last year's Tour's final time trial was extremely impressive and showed he's getting better at it.

mountain ttt is not comparable at all.

He is right, it has been a long time since aac has done much in a long itt, namely because we haven't seen him do one.

AC biggest risk in the itt is probably fatigue. At that stage, he will be feeling the giro and tour mountains in his legs.

I'd say at this point. If we head into the mountains with this advantage, it will be pretty fair game for the yellow.

But I suspect AC wont be fresh enough. We'll see.

Zzz Sherwen, if Garmin really wanted to win the TTT they wouldn't be carrying Danielson or Hesjedal.
