Looking a bit messy indeed. But that says nothing about the speed of course. And the Belgium commentator really sounding worried about the public. Lets hope nothing bad happens.

Time gets started when the team passes a line at the bottom of the ramp

That always happens in time trials. I guess if someone is too blatant they could be penalised, but if everyone does it there's not much harm, is there?

Always enjoyed this discipline. Considered to be the hardest thing for a rider in the whole sport.

When you look at Saxo like this it's not hard to see why teams like Garmin, Radioshack and HTC which really prepare for this constantly win even though they have 'worse' time trial teams then some others on paper. There's so much time to lose by not being a coherent unit.
