Lol what a finish.

Garmin got it handed it to them by the Cofidis man falling.
Too bad Feillu waited to long and got boxed by Rojas so he had to go too late.

I guess if you call going into the final corner in the best position having it "handed to them" then yea... If I'm not mistaken, HTC or anyone else could have been in that position if they were strong enough.

Super G on British TV now, he did indeed think EBH and Swift were following him.

He should have kept going. Not sure why he slowed up.

What a brilliant climax and what a great win - on the 4th of July!:D

Impressive to see the reigning world champion and yellow jersey busting his nuts for Farrar.

Uh, Martin pulled from 4km to 2km, he more than earned his paycheck.

Vacan are a great lot, always aggressive. I love the tactic of one attack from 2km out and one sprinter, they used it in the Giro to great success.

Oh dear always someone feels attacked. Garmin did great, but they did have 90% of the competition eliminated thanks to that fall. Thus, they got it handed to them.

On the overhead I noticed Swift got knocked off EBH's wheel by a Quickstep rider (nearly squeezed him into the barriers!), then EBH must have lost the wheel on the final corner. G looked super strong though, would have been interesting if they had kept on his wheel.

Hushovd deserves a big mention. A couple of K's from the finish and he was already giving is face to the wind. Still managed 6th. But overall Garmin read that finish very well.1st Tdf win for Farrar also.

That was a nice final kick by Feuillu. Also, props to Bozic for still managing a top 10 after his attack.

Bozic didnt attack that was De Gendt

Hushovd proved to be a true professional by leading Farrar.

Marcato did a nice try unluckily too far from the finish line.

Everyone that mattered was ahead of the crash, or do we watch different races?

Oh dear, someone always has to minimize a great win by a team with the best tactics in the sprint. They took the win, nobody hands anything to anyone in the TdF unless it's a mountain top finish.

too be honest farrar didnt look very fast he only just beat rojas and feillu who started way back from him. he will lose in a mass sprint to cav or petacchi. I skipped a heartbeat when harmon said cadel finished in the 2nd group 6 seconds down on hushvod.

Seems like a way to beat Cav

It wasnt a crash but a Sky guy who slipped or anyway lost control of the bike on the inside of the corner.
The Cofidis rider falling was on the opposide side.
