The break gap dropped quite a bit leading up to those cobbles. I expect them to be swept up prior to the start of the real fun.

Specialised running a cycling advert which actually involves cycling, rather than naked perverts and men playing spin the bottle, hurrah!

Now if only I could find some glasses which work indoors and out...
speaking of ads - anyone see the bike add with Contador and Andy S - very good :D

Interview with cervélos swedish mechanic on swedish eurosport right now: Sastre will have one rider helping him and the rest will help Thor. They brought all their roubaix bikes but noone ended up using them.

Sastre will be riding on a new frame (R5) in the tour that isn't on the market yet.

Not sure about that.
You have some competing interests in the peloton that will definitely clamp down on that break, between cobbles specialist thinking win and GC selection ambitions. I don't see how the break stays out.

Can Eurosport dudes please quit reading emails and doing adverts for some guy's bookstore?

I'm watching ITV4, so far, 10mins of cycling, 14 mins of adverts.
