I'm saying that the time Armstrong loses today is probably negligible compared to what he will probably lose in the mountains.

No, Armstrong punctured after Contador had join his group. Contador went from wiggans group to the armstrong group, then armstrong punctured

No, they weren't - the Contador group caught the Armstrong group, then almost immediately Armstrong punctured.
