Good to hear the wind is blowing in the right way... Could be some great cycling 2 1/2 hours from now :p

Go Lieuwe btw

EDIT: break is off... Once upon a time it would take 20 mins of struggling before a group could get away. Nowadays if the first attack doesn't stick the second will :(

Live already. Great. Seems like they are letting a 4 man break go now.
1 europecar (Turgot), 1 SS (Delaplace), 1 Moviestar (Guttierez) and 1 Cofidis (Valentin).

It was taking 50 to 80km for breaks to get away in the Giro.

Yeh it's dissapointing, but I guess it has to do with the fact that it's pretty much hopeless to win a stage from a breakaway. Specially the first week during a GT it's rare to see the break win.

I never rode in a peloton, but sometimes I wonder why the teams that don't have a finisher don't try to get a bigger break on the road. The more in the break the bigger the chance for them to stay away.

Not all stages though. Once the TdF hits the Central-Massif I'm sure there will be a lot more riders that want to be in the break.

Yeah ive wondered that too. If, say, Europcar and Saur-Sosajun got three in the break each then they could really power along and Garmin may not want to commit to chasing them all day. Do these attempts happen but get nipped in the bud?

If Cadel had taken yellow yesterday this would have been a perfect day for BMC to give up the jersey.

Details? i don't have a stream. What's going on?!?!

Looks like a touch of wheels in the middle of the bunch and Wiggans and Chavanel were held up. Three Sky riders are pacing Wiggins and the rest of the riders held up back to the peloton.
