YEAH... Isn't it a day anyone of us have expected since the Tour course was announced. Alberto Contador and Christopher Froome. 2 riders. 2 antipodes. 2 guys, enthusiastic mention about one of them makes other's fan hit the ceiling and come сues to the point of level of dirty chinwag. And there is a huge colouring of this duel in it. Ax-3 wil judge them. That's its prerogative..

Haha zam :D, I don't hate Froome, I dislike him :p

You strongly question fairness and legitimacy of his achievements which hints on something more significant than dislike.

Why you so sure? Schleck was Alberto's equal uphill in the past and I think Contador has peaked(wont win the TDF) Schleck could well be on the podium, please don't tell me you think Valverde has a better shot at the podium.

Scleck has shown nothing in 2 years and u seriously expect him to start climbing with the world's best now??u gotta lotta faith bud...

Thats what we (cycling fans) want no?To every rider perform in best possible way ;)..

Well, that was what they thought we wanted in the 90s (and they sure did perform the best possible way). Nowadays, maybe that statement needs to be adjusted to include words like "natural" or "within the rules" etc ;)

Enough to flame his GF on twitter, and who accuses others of trolling, if I where a mod I would ban you for accusing others (yes I do note the hypocracy in this statement but i am not perpetually doing it like LaFlo)

She is just a sad little girl who needs to grow up. Its really not a good idea to blindly support a person who you dont even know and 'dislike' i.e. detest another person who from all available evidence is thoroughly decent, polite, honest, and straightforward simply because he is a professional rival to her chosen 'favourite'. I guess people like her spend all their time in front of a computer and dont have to engage with real people in the real world.

Enough of the personal insults....shoot the message not the messenger.

And lay off sly insinuations of "performance enhancement" - take it to the clinic

You have been warned

And u never question how it is that Schleck, in the past, has managed to perform at a level in le tour far higher than his usual level? Maybe he is just very good at peaking for GTs

Hard work, marginal gains, weak fields and competition peaking for other events obviously ;)

What is his usual level? surely this can only be ascertained by considering his level of effort? does Andy put in the same amount of effort in others races? I think we all know the answer to that.

The inevitable dig at Sky, despite the fact their riders perform to a broadly similar level throughout the season.

this is getting off-topic as there are other places for these discussions.

Who did he attack then, Bauke Mollema, he's never pulled of a long solo uphill against a strong field

It doesn't have to be a solo, but you get to see who is going to get caught out, and put real time into them. I think it's more than likely he could get away with two or three other cyclists.
