This was brilliant move by Movistar.
Froome cant responde to everyone.
We will loose himself somewhere in the stage.

i dont get the criticism of movistar, valverde is riding for his best result at the tour ever and will have plenty of opportunities to attack froome, today and in the coming 2 weeks.

Movistar is Froome's help-team now, this is stupid.

What happened?

Let Valverde and Froome go, and join the break.

Now they have to chase the 20 ish rider break by themselves.

Plus Contador doesn't look strong imo anyway.

He only needs to respond to Valverde from that break though.. all others are not big threat.

Lol even Simon Gerrans is there. Seems like he's a better climber than the rest of Team Sky

What's going to happen to all of these attackers when they hit the foot of the Peyresourde?

Stupid by Froome and Sky. Not sure why the're trying to close gaps with 110km to go.

Movistar attack after the group comes back together but Froome decides to stick with Contador this time and let his Saxo boys bring it back together again.

That's the idea. They're trying to kill Froome and Sky before the climb.

they are riding against saxo and belkin, it isnt like valverde has won the tour several times and 2nd place would be a step back, distancing conti would cement his 2nd place and still gives him the chance to attack the yellow jersey.
