He took some pills or something without consulting the team doctor which violates Cervelo's policy so he was suspended. It is however not an actual doping case AFAIK.

What was the pill le Docteur shoved in Simon Gerrans mouth after his crash? A panadol or an anti inflamatory? wouldnt have been aspirin or codeine.

Simon Gerrans out. Seems he broke his arm 7kms into stage 8 when he crashed.

Still finished the stage though
