I'm positively surprised to read Del Toro won this; I have seen some footage on youtube of previous stages and hope the last state will be uploaded quickly.
I am not surprised at all.. He has been major instigator in all big moves..and has been riding great from the first stage ..he is the pride of Ensenada, Baja California!!! Well deserved win(s)

Your right, I keep thinking that Israel and Lotto are World Tour teams but they are still more professional than the club team Del Toro comes from, so my argument still stands.
Agreed that Israel and Lotto are better teams because of budget, but many small organizations are doing the best they can w what they have. Del Toro has a very very limited number of good quality paved roads where he is from in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico and the race technique and ability he is showing makes everything that much more magical for Baja race fans..

Coins or banknotes?
Riccitello and Pellizzari on the other hand showed that their results in that race were not a fluke.

Btw, I was the first one to mention Del Toro on this forum after his results in Sibiu, clearly a WT team needs to throw big money at me to sign me as a talent scout;)
I don't think @Mayomaniac wants large bags of Coins tossed at Him/Her. ;)
