Ballerini is more a versatile domestique who has a pretty good knack for taking his chances on the relatively rare times he has the team ride for him.

Lol at that sprint. What the hell was Demare doing? He has no reason to be going at that distance against non top tier competition. He should be totally confident of winning a normal sprint in this company. He doesn’t need to take them by surprise. A very nice win for Ballerini.

I don't think he wanted to take them by surprise. Rather he was over confident.

So today's stage could be very fun considering the parcours and the weather not least. Alaphilippe should be hard to beat regardless.

How good does that long sleeve Delko winter jersey look! It just needs a string of onions around his neck and a beret for the full clichéd Frenchman on a bike look

It's raining a little. Five man break have 2:30 with 45 to go. Cousin, Conca, Grosu, Bleier aaaand....forgot about who the fifth is. But it doesn't matter much, does it. they willl be caught anyhow.

Anybody has a workable link for the US? I just don't know where to access this race in the US.
Thanks in advance.

Alaphilippe gets slightly ahead by taking the right way around a rounabout. But it seems like he changed his mind, and now two guys (Lotto and Movistar) are ahead-ish.

Looks a horrible day to be out on the bike. Should be a nice finale at least before the main course of the race up Ventoux.
