Haven't seen the stage, but Danielson thanks the team for going "so so deep" today, so maybe Zabriskie did work on the front? Realistically he has to know that keeping up with Rujano and those guys on a serious climb might be a bit too much.

Great to see Lapthorne hanging on in the stage and up for GC. No doubt the guy has been to hell and back, and great to see him back on the bike and showing how tough he is.

the reason colombians win there regularly is because it's a climb that is serious and steep. not humidity.

yesterday also victor nino was in the attack he took back some time. he is the brother of libardo, who finished 2nd here last year and miguel nino. and teammate freddy gonzalez 2x winner of the king of the mountains in the giro. they'll be the only opponents rujano will have tomorrow probably other than rujano's own teammates but rujano is their leader. danielson I doubt he'll be much of a force.

That's what I was meaning, just bad punctuation, but the steepness is hidden by the 5.5% average over the climb.
