Awesome ride by Oskar "VO2 max monster" Svendsen, aggressive riding earned him the KOM jersey and a 7th place on the stage. Good to see him getting some results again after a tough spring.

Nice to see Svendsen preforme well in this race, after he got selected for this race the national coach got some critcs from other procontinental teams. I think he definitly showed his potential today and his preformance justified his selection for the norwegian team.

Eisenhart seems to be a good climber and a strong timetrialist. Hopefully he will get a good race calender next year.

Very surprising result.

He just came of the Volta where he was completely invisible. I guess he was using it as preparation.

He is also 22 which isn't all that young, but could certainly be a good surprise for the future.

Shame the portuguese team didn't manage the points, i would really like to see how some young guys would do considering they would be coming from the Volta just like Fernandez.

Checking the live ticker in directvelo, the stage has had a lot of action
As the Colombian manager said earlier Chamorro abandoned and Parra attacked in the penultimate climb (only to do a "Wiggins" in the descent).
Now there are 4 riders ahead, only a top-10 there: Kozhatayev
In the Peloton Fernandez is isolated and almost all top 10 are there

Yates wins again. Looks like he has the potential to be what JTL was supposed to be.

Great year for him so far. World champ on the track, GB U23 road race champ and now 2 stages of L'Avenir. Got to be happy with that.

He was also gutted he lost time on the first mountain stage. I think he really thought he could get a podium spot.

Fernandez isolated quite early again. Could be total madness tomorrow.

Yates wheelsucked his way to the win, because Kozhatayev (8th in gc) was part of the group and Simon was protecting his brother's 2nd place.
