Sky continue their recent run of 2nd places.

Good to see Roelandts win. Nice tactics by Lotto-Belisol to realise they'd likely stop racing at 49k to go.

Probably, Poels often is pretty far in the front though in flat sprints, for a climber. That's a good thing though, but I always smile when I see Poels getting top 15 between third rate sprinters in flat sprints, or top 10 when it's a crappy race with a poor sprinterfield.

Look at that GC. Fränk's injury was no doubt super serious. He probably missed like 1 training ride (while he was on the plane from Milan).

I have no doubt Frank used his shoulder injury as an excuse to leave the Giro early, but the field isn't that impressive here, so it's no surprise to see him high up in GC.

Jakob got his injury in the knee from sitting awkwardly while home training because of his broken hand. Hardly anything that would take months to recover from. But came at a bad time right before the Giro.

The hand had recovered before the Giro and was not the problem.

Congrats to Jakob btw. He should do more of these and less of the major ones.

Swift and Appollonio certainly believe they got 2nd and 3rd!

Those last few laps were such a mess that anything is possible, but they definitely won the sprint from the group including Fuglsang etc.

Roelandts wins stage 4 in Luxembourg but @swiftybswift and @davidappo finish finish second and third sprinting from the bunch behind him!

So nobody knows what's happening I guess :p

That's them definitely in front of their group on the line. There must be something wrong here.

Ah, mystery solved:

Sky were under the impression that was just for time, not for stage rankings though. Roelandts gets the winner either way, so not a big deal.

Very convenient to RSNT

well, i went out and watched it and apart from knowing that roelandts was winning i had little idea as to what was going on! the 2nd group over the line contained 2 argos-shimano riders but i guess they were a lap behind. then came the "peleton" with the 2 skys. in any case, it makes no difference with the neutralisation...

that doesn't matter. the most important man in their train in tdu was roelants. so it is vital he's back

I was just responding to @Ansimis' Question about who was the last lead out man. He was only there for one stage, usually in HTC terms Renshaw is more important than Eisel for the final sprint.
