Wow a lot of 2nd and 3rd places for Movistar, not even the stage win for Malori today. What's that worth? Not much I suppose.

Seriously kinda messed my day. :(

I think the Movi guys were not performing as expected.

You think so? I think they're alright, I don't expect them to beat Vandewalle, Malori, or Cummings. If anything about Movistar for me, it's Malori should've been able to win the stage, and Gorka was the surprise.

Anyway, the TT turned out to be of the right distance/not too long in the end :)

With Gorka's time Ion would have won for 1 sec.

So Majka confirming in his post-race interview that he'll do Colorado?

If he is then he really IS the energizer bunny. Just keeps going and going and going and going.....

Although I would like to see him at the Vuelta more. :D

pretty much this,...and the Vakoc stage was good

Take one of the flat stages out, move down South quicker and add this stage again (from '11 race):

The mid mountain stage in Slovakia also works well for this race imo. I would keep that or find something similar.

I don't know if they can find slightly more interesting circuits around the bigger cities (for the flat stages), but there gotta be better places than the highway junction stuff we saw on the first 4 stages. Well hopefully.

There used to be a finish with a cobbled uphill sprint on a circuit... that one was fun. One of the first signs of life of Sagan, if memory serves. Now we had 4 ultra boring flat sprint finishes (well, three, and one that should have been a sprint finish).

Cieszyn. The only cool city circuit they had.
