Looks like they've neutralised the timings according to PCS. Lapiera still leading GC, with the only big change being Bilbao moving up to 5th thanks to the bonus seconds.

I hope Sheffield isn't savingg himself for the ITT. He has to go all in for his leader langelotti!! Ineos can win this race with such a rider. I want to see agrressive strategy and full commitment. Come on boys!

Why was Pierre Thierry disqualified?
super tuck, by the sound of it.

2.12.007.7.9 – Using a non-compliant position or point of support on the bicycle that represents a danger to the riders.
1000CHF fine, 25 points from UCI rankings and disqualification and yellow card to rider 26. THIERRY Pierre (ARK) (10071620437)

also no bonus for Bilbao, according to that.

Strange things happen in Tour of Pologne yet again. Its not the absolutely dirt worst WT stage race obviously, but its lacking so far behind the other European ones..

And this stage design was probably the best I have ever seen in this race. Just feels lacklustre regardless of route and riders showing up every year tbh

This was noticed by jez Cox in the commentary, however, he chose not to name the rider.

Sadly another mass crash in the Tour of Poland.

Good win for Turner after a fine leadout from local hero Kwiatkowski.

We have a medical update on @Filobaroncini after today’s @Tour_de_Pologne crash.

Dr. Adrian Rotunno (Medical Director): "Unfortunately, Filippo Baroncini was injured in a crash on stage 3 today at the Tour de Pologne.

“He sustained multiple facial injuries, including a fractured cervical vertebra (no neurological fallout), and facial and clavicular fractures.

“He is currently being taken care of in hospital and is under the supervision of our medical team.”

There will be further updates to come, but all of our thoughts are with Filippo 🙏

This man have so many badluck in his carreer... he was very strong this year!

Turner might have his win stripped, what a mess

What? Why?
My Polish is as it has always been which is to say completely not existant

(Except for 'kurva', but I don't think that's useful in this context...)

After the dreadful display of raceaction yesterday (not talking about the crash), hopefully we'll get better entertainment today.

Has Google Translate not made it across Schleswig-Holstein yet?
Grievances related to this turn of events were expressed by some players. "I think that the safety car of the race was the right decision, because safety is the most important thing. The only downside is that a group of about thirty riders managed to get back into the peloton, even though they had already dropped out. We tried very hard to get there, and they came back "for free". In the end, it was us who suffered. It's very disappointing," Matthew Brennan told the Visma Lease a Bike team's media.
Visma whining in other words.

another stage for Coté today, by the look of it.

It's not as tough a circuit as they used when Stybar etc won, by the way, but still not an easy sprint, with the final ~700m at around 4%

The danger of Google translating from Dutch to English to Polish and then back to English is that not much is left of the original quote, which happened in this case... because it's not Matthew Brennan who said it but rather Menno Huising, and he didn't say it like that.

Did Lapeira refuse to wear the leader's jersey today?

If he had any sense of honor he wouldn't wear it.

I like Magnier for the sprint as I thought he was quicker than Kooij in stage onee.

I thought the finish would be a bit harder, but this actually looks quite good for Magnier indeed.

So, where did Godon go? Last seen riding the opposite direction after a crash.

He's not doing a Kristoff, is he?
