Liquigas have great talent scouts. They always seem to have at least one young phenom coming through. Bear in mind we've kind of forgotten about Elia Viviani here as well.

Yes, Viviani dominated early season, but his buildup is a bit different since he is going to try at the Olympics.

If Henao didn't attack early in the stage he could have won. But oh well, impressive. Great podium with 3 great talents.

There certainly seems to be something missing from the race this year. Not nearly selective enough.

Yr. It has become more for guys like Sagan & Moser than Martin.

Sick sprint from Moser.

Pozzovivo flatted I guess he was the one closing the gap on the climb to Henao (when Henao first attacked) and still was with the front 6 guys on the top of that climb, 15 sec later he was nowhere to be seen :( he looked pretty good.

After what we saw today I'm looking forward to see an epic Sagan vs Moser battle at next year's LBL!
Oh, wait... :(:(

Yeah I completely forgot about him, but he clearly has a massive career ahead of him on the road too once he is done with the Olympics. Could we perhaps see Liquigas turning into a sprint team with Nibali leaving? Logic suggests that they probably should, but I doubt it.

I know a lot of the stations for uphill finishes in the area they started the race in are across the border in the Czech Republic, but still, there are some ways they could have made it more selective in the early stages. Either that or instead of having a flat 12km circuit on the final day in Kraków, have that be a 12km flat ITT.

Of course, if I was TRULY evil, I'd make them climb Śnieżka - 10km at 7,7%, max 21%, part of which is on cobbles!

If you didn't want to be so extreme though, just a finish at the camping place above Karpacz would be enough - just to open up some small time gaps and make there more to fight for in the later stages when you go to the likes of Uczeczka and Bukowina Tatrzanska.

Some great racing today in Tour de Pologne, cracking last 30 mins, shame for Henao that it didn't come off.

Isn't the road up Morskie Oko even better as a climb ?

They don't use it as it's in National Park but it's wholly tarmac and very tough as well.

Bikes were allowed there at one point, but after one accident when a biker I think badly injured a tourist - bikes were banned.

Great stage.

Great ride Kwiatkowski, but to be fair Moser is the strongest rider in the race.

another bad luck for Majka. It is his first stage race after a surgery, he was up there in the GC, was with the best on Gilczarów but crashed downhill :(

Also some sign of improvment for Niemiec who had a bad year so far.

Nice from Rutkiewicz who gave up with his ambitions and helped Kwiatkowski in the final kilometers. No Omega teammates left.

nice podium with three huge young talents. A lot of young riders are getting big results (sometimes their first) in Poland

Great sprint by Moser. Is he a great talent? I knew his name, but I don't know what he's capable of.

You bet he's a great talent. Certainly could be a killer all-round Classics man in years to come. This is his neo-pro year, and so far he has:

- won the Trofeo Laigueglia (parcours)

- come 7th in the GC of the Settimana Coppi e Bartali

- finished just outside the top 10 of the GP Miguel Indurain (parcours)

- finished inside the top 10 on the super hard ITT in País Vasco

- made the decisive move and finished 5th overall in the Giro della Toscana (parcours)

- won, with a late attack from a small group, one of my favourite races, the .HC-rated Rund um Frankfurt (parcours)

- finished 2nd in the Trofeo Melinda (parcours)

- finished 3rd in the prologue at the Tour de Suisse

- finished 3rd in the extremely difficult Italian national championships, in a group with Caruso and di Luca, nearly 2 minutes ahead of the next group

- won 2 stages and what looks like being the overall at the Tour de Pologne.
