Just read on other cycling site and checked on polish websites which confirm this.

Tour de Pologne will begin in Italy, Trentino next year

2 stages in Italy ( Trentino ) and possibly MTF to Madonna di Campiglio.

Rest day on Monday.

5 stages in Poland.

Also there's strong rumour of ITT, no idea whether on first stage in Italy followed my MTF or in Poland.

It's going to run between 27 July - 3 August.

Seems like nice idea To me seems like progressive move to get the race more know and more prestigious and I like that

The TT should be in Warsaw, the final stage.

Lang has been thinking about starting the race in Italy since years, because we lack high mountains.

I do not think it is a good idea.

1 ) there is only one major cycling race in Poland. Poland is a big country, a lot of nice places never had a chance to host the race.

2) The race is too short to make so long transfers

3) The race can bo open and intresting also on Polish roads

4) If somebody wins the first mountain stage with a significant margin, the race is more or less over.

5) Italy has a lot of big races. I do not want our only major race to start 1000 kilometers from Poland. It is the TOUR OF POLAND !!!! I know that three week races start often abroad, but they earn huge money on that (doubt that TdP will) and the race is still almost three weeks in his host country.
