Please, help me out here, Guys. I'm looking at the parcours for the stages, and I wonder if I understand the markings correctly. For instance, does Stage 6 hae TEN cat one climbs? If not, what do the little green triangles signify? And what do the numbers mean?
I'm asking because I cannot decide if the sprinters or the climbers will control the race. Who can possibly win buy a certified mountain goat if he faces ten monster climbs back to back?

They aren't the longest climbs in the world. Stage six is a 5-lap circuit race, with two climbs being done all five times. One of them is 4.5 km at an average of roughly 5.8%, with a max of 11.4%, the other is 5.5 km at an average of roughly 5.7%, topping out at 21.5% with that kilometer at 13.5%. Difficult climbs, sure, but we aren't talking about the Zoncolan or Angliru here.

Still, that stage was won by Mollema and Dan Martin in the last two years... they're not the hardest climbs in the world, but still hard enough.

It is almost impossible to find harder climbs in Poland where you can ride a WT bike race.

The stage is hard enough to make legs suffer and produce gaps. All depends of the riders.

Polish mountains, Orlinek where we were yesterday or Gilczarów, Bukowina would make great WC parcours. Hope that one day we will have a chance to witness worlds in Poland.

Sky wins with Swift.

Also, in other news, Sivtsov has broken the 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle records while swimming in his recovery period

Boonen tried to sprint miles away, still good result by him

I don't think it was from that far. The finish line seemed pretty close to the last corner. And he was pretty far back so no point in waiting

Viviani 2nd. Moser isn't a sprinter.

Ah. My mistake. I thought Viviani isn't riding coz it's too close to the Olympics. Couldn't recognize him in the bunch.

I mean he was poorly positioned, he started from 7th or 8th position and still ended being 3rd
