Absolutely terrible performance by Lulu. I guess he's not going to be the same again any time soon.

this parcours are no indication of a possible tour win. the tour actually has mountains, proper mountains, unlike this years pathetic editions of PN and romandie.

he is in good form this season i give him that.

Lu Lu just looks to have his set-up wrong. Did someone put the wrong gearset on for him ?

Wiggo, huge effort to win on the day. looked completely cooked. Boy is he motivated this year.

Absolutely. With Contador out and all the TT kilometers. Wiggo and Evans are in my book the favourites. He just need to avoid a weak day in the mountains. He will take minutes on the TT stages.

in regards to the tt he will surely take a bunch of minutes from all the itt km, he needs to ride with intelligence tho. Not try and hold onto all the super climbers, and just limit his loses, a conservative boring victory is the way he'll win the tour. Why risk blowing up when you have a tt weapon like this (especially with no ac)

Yes, but not many of them, and for the most part ones that are either
a) fairly well suited to Wiggins - long, grinding
b) too far away from the finish for people to stay away from the UK Postal Train.

Actually, yes, totally horrible time by Lulu.
Not compared to what he has shown so far in TTs in the Rabo jersey. All Rabos were absolutely terrible, did they decide to add extra weight to their bikes?

Props to Wiggo, again. And Talansky, incredible. Made Kelderman look like a Rabobank rider.

When's the next boring stage race where only the time trial matters?

Bayern, probably, unless Mount Baldy is raced really conservatively in California. Then the godawful embarrassment that is the 2012 Dauphiné.
