Think they would sacrifice Hirschi if necessary. DSM and Israel might have helped out too, group is big enough that a solo win is difficult.

Curious to see what Hayter might do in the climbing stages, his shape seems to have improved when compared with the beginning of the year

Ouch lol. Gonna have to explain that one. Hayter won in Andalucia last year on a 1KM 11.5% climb and was good of Great Orne against Alaphilippe, Woods and WVA (again a climb way harder than yesterdays) and in the Tour of Norway was good on similar climbs among other results. If you don't think he would have been in contention for the win yesterday had he been in good position you're just confidently incorrect and it's the opposite opinion of the rider that literally won the stage.
