Bardet’s time seems surprisingly good relative to some of the other GC candidates, and Ayuso in excellent position for the overall. And I always thought Simon was the better TT-er of the Yates? Or does he just throw in random great TT performances interspersed by average ones? I guess a flat, short prologue would never be an optimal course for either of them.

Nice. That really brings memories off these long time trials with Armstrong, Ullrich, Klödi, Basso, Vino, Landis etc. Thats one thing I really, really miss and I remember very fondly.

Besides that thing that he's on, was Indurain ever the most stylish TTer? Looking at some old footage Bugno and Berzin both look smoother and more aero on the TT bike.
