Every time I see Cerny's name I'm reminded of that poster who appeared from nowhere in the 2020 Giro and was completely insistent that he was going to win a 200k+ flat stage on the morning of it, and that he'd put some money on, even though he must've been about 500/1 and there was absolutely no prior indication. Anyway if my memory serves, the stage got cut in half because of some freak hurricane, the break got about 20 minutes and Cerny managed to get away. I like to think he's off on his own private island somewhere after taking the bookmakers for millions.
The race got cut in half because riders didn't wanna get wet.

Congrats to Watson and Ineos! Wasn't expecting that...

This has been the most maniacal race I've seen in a while, with such a short prologue it was kind of hard to follow all the action going on all at once. Am looking forward to tomorrow's stage when things slow down a bit and I can savor the scenery!

Nice. It was not a hurricane, just rain, and the stage was originally scheduled to 260 kms.

I actually also have a nice association with that stage because I had a fantasy team on Feltet.dk who was absolutely spanking everyone's asses with Ulissi, Sagan, Kelderman, Almeida and Bilbao and by the time of that stage, my win was basically already sealed (Hindley and Geoghegan Hart weren't exactly universal picks) unless one of the three latter would drop out. And then I also had Cerny as a cheap pick who then decided to add insult to injury to all the other players of the game.

I think you mean the Y1RS. The V4RS is the former version of the traditional bike UAE uses (V5RS is the new version).
I'm getting confused about the latest Colnago bikes
I'm referring to the new bike tha Pogacar used in San Remo and hasn't used again because supposedly no one likes it.

I was surprised to see Christen riding it in a prologue.
