If you say so, whatever to save face after underperforming back to back races.
Not saying he isn't underperforming. I'm saying that if he feel he will underperform it makes more sense to help his teammate. Why is that such a big deal for some? Should he ride for himself even though he'll lose the Tour?

This forum when Remco drops out of GC: 'what's wrong with him?'
He‘s basically riding for GC, but for Lecerf‘s GC as a free pace setter, so he should just ride for GC anyway.
